Expect a full British Soap Awards breakdown from me tomorrow and why the cast of Emmerdale are awesome, but for now I’m all about celebrating the totally talented and gorgeous cast we’re blessed with. So here’s my take on last night’s best dressed.
Three of the Emmerdale ladies who looked elegant in classic black were Lucy Pargeter (Chas Dingle), Fiona Wade (Priya Sharma) and Gemma Atkinson (Carly Hope). First of all, Lucy’s new ‘do was stunning and she pulled off a sophisticated look while keeping it simple. Fiona wowed with a flash of her gorgeous legs which really makes me think we should see a sexier side to businesswoman Priya on screen! Gemma showed off her amazing and toned arms. Chic, classy – all babes.
The thing I love most about these three outfits worn by Isabel Hodgins (Victoria Barton), Sophie Powles (Holly Barton) and Isobel Steele (Liv Flaherty) is that they all look fresh and fun and maybe aren’t what you’d expect for awards outfits. Isabel’s statement skirt is gorgeous and even though another soap star wore the same one, there’s no need to debate who wore it better they both looked incredible. Sophie’s floral two piece was pretty and summery and really, I just want it for myself! Isobel’s dress was cute and suited her perfectly. These were all great choices girls!
The boys! Who doesn’t love a man in a well tailored suit and all the Emmerdale lads looked hot and smart last night. I picked Mike Parr (Ross Barton) and Danny Miller (Aaron Dingle) as my best dressed males of the night for opting for slightly more daring outfits. Mike went for a summery blue blazer and light trousers which makes a nice change from the grungy black you usually see on Ross. Danny’s plaid three-piece suit had a Peaky Blinders feel to it – dapper to the max. Both lads managed to make cool look completely effortless.
